A large number of LAEIS presses type ALPHA and OMEGA is applied in the fine ceramic industry, mainly for the production of wall and floor tiles, and have excellently proven during many years of application. Their compact design, their outstanding rigidity owing to pre-tensioned columns respectively to the one-piece frame cast and their modern hydraulic concept with energy recovery represent the latest state of technology. The control ensures an error-proof operation with automatic product thickness adjustment and axis regulation of all main movements and offers further options such as data transfer via internet or intranet.

The development of our OMEGA press model range with one-piece press frame cast is based on experiences gathered in the steel-processing industry. Reducing the moving mass by approx. 16 % and additional measures resulted in an energy reduction of about 25 %.
